Este hecho no descalifica las experiencias de los inmigrantes que encuentran dificultades que no son comunes a los ciudadanos de nacimiento del pa\u00eds. Un problema contra el que han luchado los defensores en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os es el miedo que tienen muchos inmigrantes a denunciar delitos.<\/p>\n<h2>El problema<\/h2>\n<p>Algunos inmigrantes temen que una parada de tr\u00e1fico aleatoria o una llamada a la polic\u00eda para denunciar un delito puedan desencadenar una cadena de acontecimientos que desemboque en acciones de deportaci\u00f3n contra ellos. Uno de los motivos de este temor es que, a los ojos de los inmigrantes, no existe una l\u00ednea clara entre las fuerzas del orden locales y los funcionarios de inmigraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h2>Abordar el problema<\/h2>\n<p>El fiscal general del estado abord\u00f3 este problema con la publicaci\u00f3n en 2018 de la Directiva de Confianza de Inmigraci\u00f3n. El documento representa un esfuerzo por forjar la confianza entre la poblaci\u00f3n inmigrante de Nueva Jersey y el personal local encargado de hacer cumplir la ley.
